New Year's Eve was a family affair this year with 2014 being welcomed in at my partner's parents' house. The crowd was sparse with only a handful of special people present in a newly refurbed but not yet furnished kitchen - a suprisingly good setting to wave away the last year.
A few glasses of fizz later it is time to escort Gran home so while she enjoyed the comfort of the car I rode her mobility scooter to (questionable) saftey. Luckily I didnt get accused of stealing OAPs set of wheels en route!
